After several careers, Shirley finally decided that she just loves to make things and fix them too. She found stained glass the most satisfying because of the beauty, usefulness and longevity. Glass repairs, whether for keepsake sun catchers, a 200-year-old window, or the carriage lamp damaged by a tree, have gained her quite a reputation. Repairs are referred to her by other stained glass shops, lighting companies and commercial glass companies.

Dick’s skills are invaluable in installation, removal and handling of precious leaded windows for both custom made panels and repairs.

Dick and Shirley have been married since 1972 and have worked together a lot over the years. They also share a love of music. Dick plays guitar and Shirley plays the fiddle. Since 2001 they have become part of the family of bluegrass musicians in Lexington.
